As the travel needs of the average individual continue to
change, the search to find the perfect holiday destination becomes increasingly
relevant. Challenged with so many alternatives, this passionate desire has
become instilled within the mind of the traveller. Under this assumption,
contrasting opinions as what defines the perfect destination are ever-evolving;
namely cultural diversity, solitary, and sublimity.
As the largest island across the outset of French Polynesia,
Tahiti is readily argued as the perfect destination; representing the
opportunity for all three of the aforementioned constructs to be welcomely met.
While Tahiti maintains its dominance as the largest French Polynesian island,
the quality and opportunity for rich and adventurous experiences is far from
sacrificed.
Despite its island environment, the natural design of its
landscape, as formed thousands of years of costal activity, elicits a
fundamental backbone to the beautiful and sublime nature of Tahiti. The rocky
and mountain interior rises above treacherous valleys, churning ricers, free
flowing waterfalls, all heightened amongst the natural sun light. While rugged
from years of coastal activity, the Tahitian coastline represents a unique
environment amongst itself. Almost as if the crashing seas represent the purity
of the Tahitian landscape; where if one is able to conquer this coastline, they
will find their selves indulged amongst fields of tropical flowers and greeted
by the natural population.
