SEMINYAK | The Best of Bali
Envision lush vegetation, endless rice terraces, ancient culture, countless temples and tropical beaches. All this was experienced whilst spending eight days in Kuta and Seminyak, islands in Bali, Indonesia.
Bali is a prime
destination for many Australians, purely for the fact that it has something
unique to offer for every type of traveller. From backpackers who seek
adventure, luxury travellers who pursue private 5-star accommodation, families wanting
child-friendly activities, surfers, and couples going away for a relaxing vacation,
Bali has incredible places and services to cater to anyone and everyone.
In my trip,
I had a great experience spending most of my time with family, visiting
temples, rice-fields and spending quality time in the resort. Below are images
of a few of my favourite outdoor activities we had the pleasure of doing.
Additionally,
Bali is well-known for its exceptional prices and value for money when catering
to its diverse travellers and locals. This struck me as extremely convenient,
being a casual working student, as I had the opportunity to fully experience
the great wonders of Indonesia without having to excessively spend.
This was exhibited in our stay at the most
spectacular luxury resort, Peppers Seminyak. We had the privilege of staying in
private villas, gourmet kitchen and 24-hour hotel services. My favourite part
of the resort was the spa and wellness centre, where we were pampered with
de-stress and beauty treatments, at reasonable prices. We were also offered
buffet breakfast each morning, where hotel staff would prepare breakfast freshly
for each person, as shown below.
We spent a
lot of time within the hotel, due to its many services and luxuries offered.
The hotel staff also took us around to different spots within the large resort in
a buggy, with the click of a buzzer! I have included a couple of snaps of the villa
below, including private pool and outdoor bath… but of course pictures do not
do justice…
